About the Book
Self-help refers to self-improvement that is self-guided improvement in a number of directions that may include economic, intellectual, or emotional / psychological vectors. Concepts that are common in self-help culture include “recovery”, “dysfunctional families”, and “codependency”. Self-help books are a popular genre, and have been available to readers for more than a century, including advice on everything from how to manage a household, to fix the plumbing or build a brick wall, to how to deal most effectively with one’s children.
Leopold Classic Library has the goal of making available to readers the classic books that have been out of print for decades. While these books may have occasional imperfections, we consider that only hand checking of every page ensures readable content without poor picture quality, blurred or missing text etc. That’s why we:
- republish only hand checked books;
- that are high quality;
- enabling readers to see classic books in original formats; that
- are unlikely to have missing or blurred pages.
